Noctea - Your sleep goddess

Noctea - sounds like the name of a goddess of the night, but it is an invention of forest power. Behind it is a successful composition with, among other things, melatonin, which helps to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep.

The plant, native to the southeastern United States, was already used by the Indians, although they knew mainly root preparations. The immigrant European settlers in eastern North America also prepared infusions from dried leaves.

Ashwagandha: Ayurvedic multi-talent

Ashwagandha belongs to the nightshade family and is native to India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. There, the plant, which is better known in this country as winter cherry or sleeping berry, has been used as a food for over 3,000 years.

Lavender: The classic

True lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is native to the Mediterranean region and was already used in the 12th century. Hildegard von Bingen already used the herb. A publication of the European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy, i.e. the European umbrella organization of national societies for phytotherapy - the ESCOP monograph - already examined lavender in detail.

Griffonia simplicifolia: it provides the 2nd precursor of the happiness hormone serotonin

Griffonia simplicifolia, also known as African black bean, is a climbing plant native to the rainforests of West Africa. The peculiar shrub with bulbous pods and pitch-black seeds is a natural source of 5-HTP, which is formed in the organism from L-tryptophan when there is no deficiency of it. 

GABA

GABA - an abbreviation for gamma-aminobutyric acid - is a non-proteinogenic amino acid and the main calming neurotransmitter in the central nervous system and is popular for its mentally relaxing effects.

Melatonin

Melatonin is a natural sleep hormone that regulates the sleep rhythm and enables us to fall asleep. The daily production of melatonin depends on the amount of daylight: At dusk, the body releases more melatonin; in the light, production stops.

Vitamin B6: The anti-stress vitamin

Popularly referred to as an anti-stress vitamin, this micronutrient not only contributes to normal mental function, but also reduces fatigue and tiredness.

Consumption recommendation

Give 25 drops max. under the tongue in the evening hours. Please note that it should be taken only before sleeping. Driving a vehicle or machinery may be impaired by taking Noctea.
