Hemp summer stars

Nothing makes a dog as happy as the feeling of having enough delicious things in his belly. In this respect, he differs only slightly from us humans. That's why we baked our fragrant hempsummer stars for you in our Waldkraft bakery. Unlike the dog, they always do exactly what they are supposed to do:

1. growl great, 2. taste delicious, 3. be super tolerable.

But be careful not to leave the bag lying around unattended! While you are looking for the food in the oven, your dog is very likely to eat the cookies. Without regard to our feeding recommendations and your educational efforts. The summer stars contain very tempting things:

1. potato flakes

Many people love a plate of cookies on the summer terrace or in the garden, because they make a little happy. The dog is similar, potato flakes are not only quite popular with four-legged friends, but also very digestible. Indeed, cookies do not need to be baked with gluten-containing cereals at all - the potato flakes do the job of flour excellently.

The advantage: If your crumb monster is prone to allergies or intolerances, the potato is a good choice. Even if the gastrointestinal tract is a bit irritated (maybe your dog is a vacuum cleaner?), potatoes are soothing to the stomach. Also on the potato's long plus list: plenty of potassium. As a natural counterpart of sodium, potassium ensures a balanced fluid balance and supports the transmission of electrical impulses to nerve and muscle cells.

The latter is very important so that the dog can properly "sit" before getting the cookie.

2. duck meat

Duck good, all good - the motto of many dogs. No wonder: the duck has an intense flavor, is rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals and is very easy to digest. And no, don't worry, the winter stars don't have too much fat because of that, of course we took care of that. After all, we know that it does not stop at one cookie. 

3. hemp

Everyone is talking about hemp - and rightly so. In naturopathy this has been known for a long time, now more and more people and animals are experiencing how hemp can do good for them. In our hemp winter stars we use only high quality hemp leaf powder from German hemp. So you can be sure that it was grown 100% naturally and pesticide-free. We get a lot of positive feedback for our hemp products. Here's an example of what we were particularly pleased about. Dog owner Fanny Schumann wrote to us:

4. amaranth meal

Amaranth is not a grain and is therefore very well tolerated. It is also a real nutritional hit: It contains high-quality protein in the form of the amino acids methionine and lysine, polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and the vitamins of the B complex. In addition, there is a high content of minerals such as magnesium, calcium, iron and potassium.

Amaranth tastes a little nutty - which comforts your dog that he is not allowed on your cookie plate. And best of all, the fiber in amaranth fills you up without adding too many calories, while also helping with digestion. And what could be more contemplative for a dog than a pleasantly filled belly?

Dosage

small dogs: 1-2 dog cookies daily as needed

medium dogs: up to 3 dog cookies daily

large dogs: up to 6 dog cookies daily

1 cookie contains 3.3mg CBD

Store in a dry place and out of reach of children.
