Why potato flakes?

As a gluten-free carbohydrate source, potato flakes are also very digestible for dogs prone to allergies or intolerances. Potatoes are easy to digest and can also have a positive effect on the stomach lining, which is especially beneficial for dogs with an irritated gastrointestinal tract.

In naturopathy, the high potassium content of potatoes has been highly valued for many centuries. Potassium is an important mineral that plays an important role in the body for fluid balance and the transmission of electrical impulses to nerve and muscle cells.

Why duck meat?

"My dog has always had a very sensitive stomach and did not tolerate many meats and their fats well. Duck meat, however, he tolerates perfectly and he loves it to boot." - Daniel Klee, dog owner 

The intense flavor of the meat ensures high acceptance, as it masks the taste of the slightly bitter hemp - see composition. The use of coordinated protein sources in our cookies ensures better tolerance.

Why hemp?

Hemp is increasingly becoming the remedy of choice in natural medicine due to its numerous positive properties and is becoming more and more popular not only with us two-legged friends, but also with our four-legged friends. For our hemp dog cookies we use only high-quality hemp leaf powder from German hemp. This is grown 100% naturally and pesticide-free.

Dog owner Fanny Schumann wrote us the following changes in her four-legged friend:

Not only did he have an extremely sensitive stomach, but he also often had physical discomfort after long walks, as well as, especially in winter, a frequent cold. Why amaranth meal?

Like buckwheat, amaranth meal belongs to the pseudocereals, which are better tolerated by dogs than "real" cereals. However, amaranth not only impresses with its good tolerance, but also with its particularly large amount of high-quality and healthy ingredients. It contains high-quality protein in the form of the amino acids methionine and lysine, polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and the vitamins of the B complex. Also surprisingly high is the content of minerals such as magnesium, calcium and iron.

Amaranth provides important fiber and has a naturally high potassium content. The addition of this ingredient therefore also ensures good tolerance.
