Hemp oil has one of the highest oxygen binding potentials among oils. The contained bound active oxygen has antiviral, antimicrobial and antifungal properties and supports physiological tissue regeneration.

What is ozone?

Ozone (O3) is a form of oxygen. Its molecule is composed of three oxygen atoms, while the oxygen we need to breathe is composed of two oxygen atoms. Discovered in 1839, ozone is also unstable at room temperature, so it decays to oxygen relatively quickly. As a result, it has a strong oxidizing effect and is used, among other things, as a disinfectant in drinking water treatment or air purification.

Ozone in the air versus ozone in hemp oil

Those who immediately have negative associations with ozone when they think of ozonated hemp oil - increased ozone levels in summer or damaged ozone layer - are not alone in this, but are nevertheless on the wrong track. In low concentrations, ozone in the air is actually beneficial to health and supports excretions of the body. If heavily ozone-polluted air is inhaled, ozone can indeed irritate or even damage the respiratory tract and lungs. However, pure ozone combined with hemp oil results in a product that potentiates the effects of its ingredients. In the production of our ozonated hemp oil, we use only high-quality, medical ozone, free of nitrogen oxides from the ambient air.

What does ozonization mean?

Ozonated hemp oil is a novelty on the German market and as such definitely requires explanation. Even for people who have already experienced the effect of ozonated oils. In ozonization, tiny amounts of pure, highly concentrated ozone are added to hemp oil in several stages until it is completely saturated and gently - without adding heat. The active oxygen reacts with oil components, creating new substances with highly cleansing and disinfecting effects. The so-called ozonides and peroxides that are formed in the process act as oxygen reservoirs, can penetrate the skin layers and release the active oxygen directly into the tissue. Gaseous ozone is no longer contained in the ozonized oil and cannot be released.
 

Application

Apply a few drops several times a day on the affected skin areas, fur, muzzle or paws.
