What makes sango coral special?

Sango coral was probably used by people, especially the inhabitants of the Okinawa Islands, several centuries ago. In some cases, the coral lime was used as a soil additive, which had an effect on the quality of the food. On the other hand, the mineral corals were probably ingested through the consumption of marine animals and through the drinking water, which was naturally filtered through the coral-covered areas.
