• P-Cymol is a monoterpene and is found mainly in some Mediterranean semishrubs and herbaceous plants. Especially in the leaves and stems of the oregano plant, higher proportions of the substance are found. Together with other aromatic compounds, monoterpenes form complex essential oil compounds that are responsible for the typical oregano aroma, among other things.
• Borneol is a naturally occurring compound in nature. Classified as a monohydric, secondary alcohol from the class of monoterpenes, it is an integral part of essential oils.
