Drinking peat for dogs and cats - Highest quality natural peat from Waldkraft
The set of 3.
Moor extract with phyto-microminerals and humic acid
Formed about eight to twelve thousand years ago during the melting of the last ice age glaciers, the natural moor harbors a variety of biologically active plant substances. The unique composition of over 350 plants, many of which no longer exist, binds an ancient power created by nature, based on highly concentrated humic acid - namely 21.3% in dry matter - and organic minerals and trace elements. Highly bioavailable, the liquid peat provides a spectrum of minerals and trace elements.
The Waldkraft Moorliquid for the gastrointestinal tract
The most important part of the immune system of dogs and cats - similar to humans - is located in the intestine. And it is exactly here that our Waldkraft Moorliquid is supposed to unfold its effect.
What is a bog?
Formerly feared and enchanted, moor landscapes have lost their forbidding aura over time. And rightly so: because bog plants provide beneficial power and natural vitality. But what exactly is a bog?
When a water-impermeable layer develops in the soil, the waterlogging and lack of fresh water supply results in a lack of oxygen. In this layer, dead plants cannot be completely decomposed. Instead, the plant remains from herbs, grasses, shrubs and trees are deposited as peat at the bottom of the water bodies. This also distinguishes bogs from swamps. The latter, in fact, occasionally dry out and their organic matter is completely transformed into humus. Peat formation, on the other hand, develops valuable acids, such as silicic or humic acid, which increase the acidity of natural peat. The final peat product is a versatile single feed.
Humic acid
Humic acid - an important component of moor drink - is an old household remedy and has been used since the 1960s. It can promote the settlement of vital micro- and probiotics and thus contribute to the protection of the digestive tract. Humic acids exhibit anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and virucidal effects. They overlay the intestinal villi and function as a kind of protective shield for the intestinal mucosa.
Vital moor for dogs and cats
In addition to the beneficial humic acids, the ready-to-eat vital peat for dogs and cats provides a powerful load of minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium, as well as trace elements, for example, iron, sodium, zinc, copper, chromium and molybdenum. Accordingly, the liquid peat is full of live bacterial cultures. Waldkraft Phyto Peat for Dogs and Cats combines the ancient knowledge of plant power with modern methods of feeding pets.

Minerals and their general properties
Calcium: watches over the stability of bones and teeth and supports the stabilization of cell membranes and cell division.
Magnesium: activates enzymes, coordinates the interaction of minerals and supports their absorption in cells, organs and tissues. The mineral provides energy, regulates the functioning of muscles and can influence the nervous system.
Potassium: supports the water content within the body cells, is involved in many metabolic processes of the cells and supports the function of the heart muscle and nerves.
Trace elements
Iron: responsible for the transport of oxygen from the lungs to the cells and organs and its storage within the muscle cells.
Sodium: supports acid-base balance, promotes growth and, together with calcium, is responsible for muscle contractions and nerve function. It supports the transport of nutrients into the cells and waste products on their way back.
Zinc: Supports bone growth, wound healing and insulin production. It is involved in immune defense and the synthesis of protein and collagen.
Copper: essential in the absorption and transport of iron in the body, supports heart function and the formation of blood bodies, cartilage and connective tissue. Involved in the production of melanin.
Chromium: co-responsible for the regulation of blood sugar, supports the body in stress reactions, protects against heart disease. A diligent helper in the work of adrenal glands.
Molybdenum: a little unknown - its effect has not yet been fully researched. The trace element is involved in various metabolic processes.
